Personal Data

I was born and raised in the Basque Region of Spain, near France.  My name is pronounced  Ya Yo.  It means Christmas in Basque.  My parents and siblings live in Europe and I visit them yearly.  I became an American Citizen in 2003. I have lived in Paris and the San Francisco Bay Area.  However, I call Fort Collins home and love living here with my husband and our two shelties.  Together we have four daughters.

I am fluent in Basque, English, French and Spanish. Some of my hobbies are travel, “gourmet” cooking, fine wine, the outdoors (hiking, biking, sailing, etc.) and home design.  People fascinate me and I enjoy social interaction.
